The 14-hour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid course teaches any adult (18 years and over) how to provide initial support to an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person experiencing a mental health problem or crisis. Learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB), mental health problems in communities, how to provide initial help, where and how to get professional help, and how to provide first aid in a crisis situation. The training has been created by Mental Health First Aid Australia based on the best possible current evidence and cultural inputs.
